Puppy Health Guarantee/Contract

 

  1. The Buyer agrees to provide a life-long commitment, comfortable environment, prompt medical attention and responsible care. This includes keeping this puppy parasite free and up to date with inoculations, proper nutrition, and fresh water available at all times. Failure to provide your puppy with timely inoculations or regular veterinary care will void this guarantee.
    The Buyer promises to provide a safe environment for the puppy, and never allow the puppy to roam freely without proper fencing or supervision.

     

  2. The Seller guarantees this puppy to be of sound health and temperament at the time of this sale. A health record of all shots and/or worming’s, as well as a health certificate stating that the puppy has been inspected and found to be free from visible signs of infection, contagious or communicable diseases will be provided by the seller.
    The buyer agrees to take this puppy to a licensed veterinarian of their choice, within three business, for a physical examination. Should the puppy be determined to be in an unacceptable health by a licensed veterinarian, the cause of which the Seller is clearly to blame, the puppy may, upon a signed written diagnosis from said licensed veterinarian, be returned for refund of the purchase price. The puppy must be returned to the seller within two business days of written diagnosis. The seller assumes absolutely no responsibility for any veterinarian costs and/or any fees associated with caring for the puppy.

     

  3. 1 Year Health Guarantee Puppy is guaranteed against life-threatening, congenital defects for a period of one year from date of birth. If a life-threatening congenital defect is found within one year of date of birth, and is verified by our veterinarian, a replacement puppy of equivalent value will be given. Buyer must notify Seller within two business days of diagnosis of congenital defect. Failure to notify within two business days will result in forfeiture of rights. Again, at no time and under no circumstances will the breeder be responsible for any veterinarian expenses incurred by the buyer. If the puppy is found to have a congenital defect the original puppy, and all veterinarian records must be returned to the Seller. Shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer. In case of death, an autopsy or postpartum diagnosis is necessary, and medical records will need to be sent to our veterinarian. They will review the report and have final say about cause of death (congenital or non-congenital cause)
     

  4. Buyer agrees that this puppy will NOT be used for breeding purposes and agrees to have puppy spayed or neutered within 2 years of date of birth. Spaying or neutering costs are not covered, including undescended testes or hernias.
     

The seller assumes no responsibility of the puppy after the puppy leaves the seller's premises or agreed on meeting location, for any medical expenses, disease, mortality unrelated to breeding practices, shedding, personality or training. Buyer also understands that the seller’s prediction of adult weight, coat color, coat type, and height are estimates only, and seller is not to be held responsible for any of these.
